The history of Sansorio begins with Gabriele Hilgers. She is a systemic therapist and has been working with international companies and individuals for more than 17 years – always searching. Because she is only content when she has found out which kind of assistance the person seeking advice needs. Together with like-minded people she has founded Sansorio as a platform which makes it possible to help with the right method. Here a person’s individuality, strength and potentials emerge and synergies are created that allow changes to happen.

The true nature of human beings and the dynamics of social structures, not least in professional contexts – that’s what has fascinated Gabriele Hilgers all her life. After working in a creative setting, she acted as a successful purchaser for a company selling children’s fashion. When she began her training as a gestalt therapist along with a practicum as a gestalt educator in a primary school, her path began, leading to what Sansorio is today: a platform where people can find a new view of their lives and their work. In 2002 she became well-known when her primary school project “Being little I’m big” (with the issues: resources, perception and empathy) won the price of the Aktion Mensch (an important German organisation caring for handicapped people and funding social projects). In the following year 2003 she opened her own practice as a therapist called “Lebensraum Kunterbunt”.

In the following years, Gabriele Hilgers completed many more national and international trainings in the field of coaching and health promotion, e.g. Profilcoaching (profile coaching), business coaching, project management, supervision, gestalt therapy and Gestaltpädagogik (gestalt education), family and couples therapy and theatre pedagogy. Deeply ingrained in her charismatic personality is her desire to pass on her knowledge and her comprehensive experience to create something greater – an international network of specialists that has the power to get people going.

In 2015 she founded Sansorio Personal Development GmbH, together with four partners. Sansorio Personal Development GmbH is now based in Köln-Bickendorf. Sansorio is working in Germany as well as in many other countries, such as Brazil, Portugal, Ireland and France. This international experience gives our coaches an elemental understanding of culture and cooperation – inside a company and beyond.
