What does Coaching mean?

For us coaching means to enable our clients to change and develop their inner stance. The key to this is to understand oneself and others. Because understanding oneself makes it possible to be more appreciative towards what is around you and to make great things happen.

 

We encourage you to ask questions!

How do others see me, and how do I want to be seen? How do we deal with problems in our company? Have we got a policy of dealing constructively with failure, with arguments, with success? Constructive cooperation needs questions – also and especially questions to the management. We see your team as a whole without losing sight of the individual.

 

Problems in companies can have a lot of different causes. Therefore, at Sansorio we use a “market of possibilities” – a large pool of coaching methods that can advance you, your staff and your company. We don’t focus on the problem but on the solution.

It is of course paramount for us to handle the bond of trust that will be formed between us in the process responsibly and discreetly.

Loyalty & Leadership

 

It does not matter what your line of business is or how big or small your company is. Everyone follows the example set at the top of the pyramid.

It is at the top that values are imparted, directions set, and far-reaching decisions are made. Without a strong leadership an identification with the company is impossible, and without identification there is no loyalty.

Enhancement of social competence

According to the German “Duden” dictionary social competence is “a person’s ability to act independently in her social environment”. You can of course act independently according to your own interests without consideration for the interests of others. What is meant here is, however, to be able to stand in for one’s needs and demands in a social context and at the same time to act regardfully towards other people: from me - to you - to we. Social competence begins where we become aware of our responsibility towards ourselves in a greater context.

At the workplace, acting responsibly like this is important: here people with radically different characters and backgrounds spend many hours with each other to create something together. Contacts have to be made, criticism has to be uttered, needs and demands must be stated and compromises have to be found. By means of our coaching in social competence, we assist you to find a way of cooperation that allows everyone to feel that he is seen and taken seriously.

Vision training

“People who have visions should go to see a doctor!” a prominent politician once said. We say: “Whoever has visions should step forward!” We show you which aims set the course for the company as a whole, what the part of every staff member is in reaching them and what has to be done to reach these aims.

If the vision is not yet clearly defined but the wish for development and change is becoming more and more pronounced, we will let them emerge together. Different methods, from training the perception to meditation or inner journeys, can be used for that.

Development of resources

Everyone sooner or later reaches a point in his life when he says to himself “I can’t manage this!” or “I don’t have it in me to do this!” But how often does one take the time to look and investigate if this is really true?

 

Especially in business we need many strengths, but often we are not aware of them or they lead a shadowy existence because of our habits, our lack of self-confidence or because they are rarely used.

We will find out together with your team which abilities everyone has and how they can be activated for individual success and the success of the company. Blockages and difficulties can be overcome and there are new chances and possibilities – with new energy, creativity and optimism.

Systemic Constellations

As human beings we move in a lot of different systems: e.g. in a family, a relationship or at work. Every one of us relates with other people or situations. We act, interact and react. To understand how tension and problems at work arise the dynamic interplay must be examined.

Systemic constellations are a valuable method to make visible and tangible the complex patterns of relationships, the blockages and ongoing processes – especially in the professional life. Assumptions, opinions and feelings of the participants are focussed upon and pictured in a three-dimensional way in the room. By that everyone in the team gets a fresh view at the context of the problem and it is possible to find a new approach and new perspectives.

Coaching

Coaching helps you to help yourself. In the context of a specific problem or concern that is determined by you as the client there will be an accompanying process that is focussed on a solution.

The cause could be a project that isn’t going too well, a manager who has difficulties in asserting himself or the wish that the staff should assume more responsibility.

The relationship between coach and client is interactive. Both coach and client are constantly challenged and work together at eye level to make development possible. Solutions aren’t simply put in front of you but they are worked out together – in a one-to-one session or among the team. Our coaches take a neutral position, give honest feedback and useful impulses. They aim at enabling the clients to change their inner stances in order to reach the stage where coaching is no longer needed.

Supervision

Translated directly from Latin, supervision means “overview”. To give you an overview of your current situation we will look at it from the perspective of an impartial observer and thereby allow you to do this as well. The basic purpose of this is to enable the participants to examine their own actions and give them more clarity about their self-concept in the context of their professional life.

At the beginning the individual goal of the supervision is determined. There are very different goals which require different forms of supervision:

  • Supervision for the management
    The supervision for the management is aimed at executives. It is focussed on subjects like the style of leadership, the handling of power, authority and work-life-balance.

  • Case supervision
    This supervision deals with concrete cases, for instance the relationship with a client that is causing problems again and again. The supervision sessions will take place either in a one-to-one setting or in a group session. The aim is to take the weight off the people concerned and find a better way for them to handle the difficulties that have arisen.

  • Individual Supervision
    This supervision is intended for an individual person regardless of his/her position in the company. It deals with subjects like personal goals, better self-management, personal crises, the handling of stress, how to prevent or manage burn-out and many more.

  • Team supervision
    Team supervision allows us to take a good look at the underlying dynamics and issues that arise in a professional context and to sort them out. These issues may show themselves for instance when working with clients, in communication, in regard to the assignment of tasks. In fact, they encompass everything that is needed to improve cooperation.
